Victory in SA


Well It is not a series win but a win nonetheless and it also got me out of the hiatus . This test win in SA has to be one of the memorable moments for Indian cricket . Sreesanth for me was a revelation and his fighting spirit is what differentiates him from the rest . The most memorable moment for me would be his dancing down the pitch after hitting Nel for a six.
Nonehtheless there were two very important contibutions from Laxman and Ganguly both on a comeback.

Continuing from my earlier post I wanted to answer one more question which I strongly feel about. Why is India an undeveloped country even 50 years into Independence? At the time of our independence it was well accepted that for all of our misery,famines and poverty the British rule was responsible. As a consequence we developed a fear for all things foreign ( Xenophobia ). We adopted a policy which aimed at self reliance. Our exports which at the time of independence were 4.5% of world share dropped to .1 % in late 80’s. In the world of today everybody has got a level playing field. People in developing world compete and collaborate with those in developed world. This way we are witnessing a phenomenon of widespread distribution of wealth across the globe and are bringing prosperity all around.
