Krabi Dec 2017

Image
The Trip to Krabi was planned way back in June 2017.  I was contemplating where to head when this gem of a place popped up in my mind. I did some research and booked the tickets from MakeMyTrip. Costed me total Rs 100,000 for three of us. It was a long wait for  a trip in December. Long 5 month wait. It was not easy but we waited eagerly. 2 weeks before the travel date i scrambled to get the necessary currency and took service from BookMyForex. I took 25,000 Baht and 300 USD. It was super convenient and I took a travel insurance as well. Before the  D day , since travelling with small kid, had to make necessary arrangement with snacks, ready to eat, milk power etc. We took a flight form Delhi to Bangkok with a 4 hour stop over and then flight to Krabi which was mere 1 hour . All this was on Thai airways. Which I feel is an excellent choice when travelling to Thailand . We took our visa on arrival in Bangkok and costed 2200 baht per person . For flights to domestic, the Cafeteria

Trip to Yoga Capital Rishikesh

We started our Journey from Delhi. Trip was with Parents and hence the it was to relax and get away from the Delhi pollution and a take short break in November 2017 Parmarth Niketan I decided to stay at Parmarth Niketan, probably the best place in Rishikesh with the most enchanting Ganga aarti. Ghats are so clean and water is cold. Food is not that expensive. We tried the food at the famous "Chooti wala" and it was decent. Route Roads from Delhi to Rishikesh are not that great. And it being so smogy , it took us almost 7 hours to reach Rishikesh. While coming back, it was even worse. Meerut to Delhi was jam packed and took almost 4 hours. Neelkanth Temple On the first day we went to the very famous Neelkanth temple. It is around 1 hours drive from Parmarth. Temple is situated at a higher altitude then Rishikesh and it gets cold there. It's famous as the place where Lord Shiv drank the poison. Parmarth Niketan Basic Canteen. View from the Ganga Ro

I booked the Tiger Camp for our trip as it had excellent reviews and also got a great deal. Day 1: Leaving Noida and reaching Tiger Camp The Trip from Noida to Jim Corbett was relatively smooth. Taking NH9 , Moradabad Bypass and left turn before Rampur. After that road is hit and miss till Kashipur. After Kashipur you enter Uttarakhand  and road is great again. On reaching the Hotel, we witnessed Kosi river and it looked majestic. This view is from hotel. Day 2. On the second day we took the safari to Dhela zone. It was a bit far and also was a rainy day. But fortunately we were the early morning group and did see some animals and lot's of birds. We witnessed Samba Deer. Day 3:  Left the last day for relaxing and bird watching. Also visited the famous mata ka mandir.  The nights at Tiger camp were most
